PURPOSE:To obtain a mixture of angiotensin converting enzyme inhibiting peptides having hypotensive action by using acid-decomposition process. CONSTITUTION:A mixture of angiotensin converting enzyme inhibiting peptides can easily be produced by decomposing the proteins of fish, shellfish, animal or vegetable with an acid. An angiotensin converting enzyme inhibiting peptide can easily be taken as a delicious food by preparing a food containing the peptide mixture.
