<p>Inside the cylindrical casing is fitted a coaxial cylindrical pin supported at the opposite end of the casing. The pin and the casing define a ring-shaped gap for accommodation of a tube to be bent. The pin projects slightly from the open end of the casing, and at least in the area of the mouth part soft rounded surface has sprung-pliable characteristics. The pin is rigidly fixed at the closed end of the casing, and at the open end of the casing incoporates a screw spring which extends through the casing mouth part, forming the projecting part. In the casing is an axial slot, through which the ring-shaped gap is accessible. When a tube is to be bent, it is inserted into the gap in the casing over the spring and pin to the extent at which the bend is to be formed. The tube is then bent, with the bend occurring against the soft rounded surface inside the mouth of the casing.</p> |
