PURPOSE:To secure mechanical strength and interconnect conductors simultaneously by inserting a spacer between conductors at the ends of windings, and furthermore, by connecting the conductors both in the winding direction and parallel direction in terms of a cylinder-shaped superconductor coil wound up on a layer basis. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 5 Is inserted between conductors 2 on the ends of layer-wound up winding parts 1 and the conductors 2 are slowly transferred in the longitudinal direction of a superconductor coil where connection parts 3 are isolated from both upper and lower ends of the winding parts 1 in a ferromagnetic field. In case when a friction coefficient is 0.3 during the movement of the superconductor coil, the spacer 5 inserted between the conductors 2 is prohibited to move horizontally, if the longitudinal transfer angle of the conductors 2 of the winding parts 1 fails to exceed 16.7 deg., which prevents the generation of a slip even when pressure is exerted vertically in the longitudinal direction of the superconductor coil. This construction makes it possible to secure the mechanical strength of the superconductor coil and interconnect the conductors as well. |
