The present invention relates to a device for launching an object (6) in a submarine environment, equipping a submarine vehicle or a fixed submerged structure and comprising a launch tube (1) inside of which the said object (6) is placed, leak-proof obturating means (4) and (5) fitted to the ends of the said tube (1). The said device is independent and is fixed by any conventional means to the said vehicle or to the said structure and comprises hydraulic (18) or mechanical (28) means of expelling the said object controlled simultaneously on opening the obturating means (4) and (5).
