<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the omission of dots and eliminate the restriction of a display image plane area and an enlargement ratio by specially providing a transforming means for transforming the dot coordinate values into polor coordi nate form, and a storage means for storing radar video onto dots. CONSTITUTION:The coordinates x, y of the respective dots forming a display memory 10 are transformed into polar coordinates tau, theta. At that time, a rectangular coordinate transforming circuit 8 uses the size of a display area and a display center position assigned by an external input device 5. An extracting circuit 9 extracts radar video, corresponding to the polar coordinates tau, thetaobtained from the circuit 8, from a polar coodinate memory 7. This video is stored on the corresponding dots on the display memory 10. The whole radar video corresponding to the respective dots of the memory 10 can be thereby extracted from the memory 7 so as to prevent the omission of dots generated by the azimuth direction space of the radar video. The high resolution of a display device 11 can be thereby obtained without performing display interpolation processing. In addition, a display area and an enlargement ratio are not restricted because of dispensing with display interpolation processing.</p> |
