PURPOSE: To form useful visible images on at least one of separated materials or form the hydrophobic polymer images on a hydrophilic background formed within a receptive material separated in the finally, which is useful as a printing plate. CONSTITUTION: This method for formation of the images includes (1) a stage for exposing a photosensitive material including a base and at least one photosensitive layers contg. silver halides photosensitive to chemical radiations, org. silver salts and reducing agents in the presence of a photopolymerizable compd. by following the images, (2) a stage for transferring and penetrating the non- photopolymerizable compd. in the non-exposed part regions to the receptive material by heating the photosensitive layers while bringing the layers into contact with the receptive material and (3) a stage for separating the photosensitive material from the receptive material. The photopolymerizable compd. preferably carries >=1 functional (meth)acrylate groups. Most preferably, this compd. is selected from a specific group of reactive multifunctional monomers. |
