CONSTITUTION:A radiation detector has a package 1 being formed containing a thermal conductive substance and having a recessed section, a Peltier element 2 mounted on the base of the recessed section, a CCD 3 installed on the top face of the Peltier element 2 and a Be plate 4, which is set up to the package 1 and through which a wavelength shorter than the wavelength of vacuum ultraviolet rays is transmitted.
