PURPOSE:To provide a small X-ray generator, from which a plurality of X-rays of different wavelengths can be emitted simultaneously, and in which the intensity of an individual X-ray can be adjusted separately. CONSTITUTION:A target 2 is divided into two X-ray focal point regions 4a, 4b by an electric insulating region 5. The electrons emitted from filaments 3a, 3b by heating, collide with each of the X-ray focal point regions 4a, 4b, and an X-ray R1 of line focus and an X-ray R2 of point focus are generated simultaneously. The X-ray focal point regions 4a, 4b are formed of different metals, and the X-rays R1, R2 are of different wavelengths. Since the insulating region 5 is provided, the strength of each of the X-ray R1, R2 can be adjusted separately. |
