PURPOSE:To easily confirm the position of a luminaire by the eyes by lighting an incandescent lamp or fluorescent lamp through a lighting control means according to a signal emitted when the access of a man is detected, and lighting it for a determined time with a low illuminance capable of identifying the circumference. CONSTITUTION:When the movable contact of a flashing change-over switch 2 is rotated, a contact D is opened, and a terminal A closes a contact E. A power source circuit 10 for supplying a power to a man detecting sensor circuit 8 is operated to operate the circuit 8. In this state, all of an incandescent lamp 3 and fluorescent lamps 4, 5 are extinguished. When the access of a man is detected by the circuit 8, a man detection signal is transmitted from the circuit 8 to a timer circuit 7, and on the receipt of the man detection signal, the circuit 7 operates a timer, and a driving circuit 6 closes a contact 11 for a determined time to light the incandescent lamp 3. Since a resistor 12 is connected in series to the incandescent lamp 3, however, the input current is limited, and the lamp 3 is lighted with a luminance less than about 10% of ordinary lighting, and even when it is suddenly lighted in the darkness, no glare is felt.
