THIN-WALLED NONFLAMMABLE INSULATED WIRE

摘要

PURPOSE:To obtain novel thin-walled nonflammable insulated wire not emitting highly-corrosive halogen gas at combustion and having high wear resistance and nonflammability. CONSTITUTION:Forty to one hundred pts. of magnesium hydroxide is mixed with one hundred pts. of blend polymer which is the addition of ultra-low density polyethylene or straight chain low density polyethylene to polyethylene to polyolefin of a yield strength of 3.0kg/mm<2> or more. Three to ten pts.wt. of silicic acid anhydride is then added to the mixture, to form a composition and to cover a conductor with it.
