<p>PURPOSE:To manufacture a small-sized ceramic electronic component by forming an unburnt ceramic laminate having an internal electrode to block holes on a surface of a base board, then forming a plurality of through holes at positions corresponding to the holes, and forming an external electrode to be connected to the internal electrode in the holes and the through holes. CONSTITUTION:An unburnt ceramic laminate having internal electrodes 9 to cover holes is formed on a surface of a base board 7 having a plurality of holes. Then, with the board 7 as a mask a plurality of through holes are formed at positions corresponding to the holes of the laminate. Thereafter, external electrodes 10 connected to the electrodes 9 are formed in the through holes of the laminate. Thus, a material such as dielectric except an external electrode material can be formed up to the holes, various types of electronic components can be enhanced in density, and a ceramic electronic component can be further reduced in size.</p> |
