PURPOSE: To provide a developing system for a liquid electrophotographic-type printer which is suitable for multicolor printing. CONSTITUTION: A liquid toner tank 12, giving toner to a photoconductor surface 11 having an electrostatic latent image on its base, is arranged proximately to the photoconductor. A developing roller 14 is arranged proximately at a downstream side in the moving direction of the photoconductor surface and reversely rotated. Furthermore, a fixing/squeegee roller 15 is brought into contact with the latent image and rotated in the same direction at the same speed as that of the latent image. A wiper roller 16 is rotated at speed different from the rollers 14 and 15. Excess toner and a liquid-carrying material are collected in a reservoir part 18 and recycled to the tank 12. |
