The invention relates to a package (20) for a device (10) which is associated with a base (14), this package (20) comprising, according to the invention, a pre-cut section (26) capable of forming a protective cap for the said base (14). According to another characteristic of the invention, the pre-cut section (26) forms the totality of a flap giving initial access to the base (14), this flap modifies the median section of one of the side panels of the package (20), the end sections (41) of this same side panel being at least laterally delimited by pre-cut lines (24) along its edges, in order to form another protective cap for the device (10).
