The method is characterised in that it consists in associating implicitly the addressee field group address of a MAC frame with an association descriptor contained in the bridge, in carrying out a flow check in the bridge by picking out the flows association by association and using the data from the association descriptor, and in retransmitting the frame over the next network with, as addressee address, either the address of the addressee(s) or the group address of the association in the new network.
