<p>PURPOSE:To specify both the accurate time when an application program on a computer system outputs the multi-media data of sound, dynamic images, etc., and synchronization relation between media. CONSTITUTION:The application program 1 stores the multi-media data in a buffer 3 and sets the output time in a register 6 at the same time. A comparator 5 compares the time of the register 6 with the time of an internal clock 4 and at the point of time of coincidence, opens a valve 7 and sends out the data inside a data buffer 3 to a reproducing device. Thus, the accurate reproducing time and the synchronization relation between the plural data can be specified without requesting a real time characteristic for the operation of the application program.</p> |
