<p>PURPOSE:To provide a ceiling type human sensor in which a desired sensitivity can be attained in the detection of the movement of human being while enlarging the detection area. CONSTITUTION:The ceiling type human sensor comprises a condenser element frame 21 forming an area for sensing the movement of human being, an optical filter 4 for receiving infrared rays emitted from the human body and transmitted through the condenser element frame body, a detector 2 having a surface 2a for receiving the light from the optical filter, and a processing circuit section 12 for converting the output from the detector. The condenser element frame body 21 is formed by protruding the central part 22 of dome from the peripheral part 23 of dome toward the floor face. A condenser element for condensing the infrared rays radiated from the wide sensing range side and substantially lowering the oblique incident angle of transmitted light with respect to the vertical incident direction to the light receiving face 2a of the detector 2 is disposed at the central part 22 of dome.</p> |
