FIXING STRUCTURE OF MOLDED ELECTRODE FOR GAS SWITCH

PURPOSE:To obtain a stabilized molded electrode for switch which can be assembled easily by tapering a conductive resilient body on one side thereof and also tapering a molded electrode opposing thereto. CONSTITUTION:A molded electrode 2a to be fixed to a box 3 is provided with a conductor 8 having left and right terminal connecting parts 9, 10 in the center thereof and a cable head 14 is fitted thereon. The molded electrode 2a is secured into a fixing hole of the box 3 by means of a spacer ring 6 made of a conductive resilient body and a tightening nut 7. A flange part 13a provided on the outer periphery of the molded electrode 2a is tapered by an angle 9 on the box 3 side and a spacer ring 12 having one side tapered by an angle theta is inserted between the flange part and the box 3. This structure allows appropriate electrical contact without requiring strict control of hardness, thickness, etc., of the conductive spacer while simultaneously allows appropriate setting of O-ring and enhancement of safety.
