Process for the manufacture of a hybrid thermoplastic material including a polymer chosen from polyolefins, polystyrene or polymethacrylate or, more generally, a combination thereof, characterised in that lignin is added by mixing to this polymer or to this combination of polymers in a range of between 10 and 60 % so as to make them more stable to thermal oxidation and to ultraviolet radiation.
