摘要 The power of the engine (100) is regulated by a rod or magnetic valve (110) operated by a control unit (120) which selects (135) the lesser of two quantities (Q,QMAX) of fuel to be injected. The former quantity is worked out by a microprocessor (150) from readings of an engine revolution counter (122), an accelerator pedal position sensor (125) and a monitor (130) of various operating conditions.When a fault is detected (155) a limiting circuit (140) produces a signal denoting the max. permissible injection of fuel. This reduces the engine output power by an amt. which increases as a function of the operating time.
