Portable helicopter attachment for lifting single person

The pilot has a backpack (6) with a support boom (2) extending to each side above the head and carrying a small rotor (4) at each end. The rotors rotate in opposing directions and have variable speeds to steer the system. A single joystick control is provided.The rotors are powered by any suitable means with the power source in the backpack. The joystick controls the relative speeds of the rotors as well as the motor starting and stopping etc. For safety a parachute can be carried eliminating the need to autorotate the rotors in an emergency.
