Ribbed steel sheet for reciprocating granite frame saw

During granite etc. sawing a mixt. of water, lime and steel or cast iron particles is supplied into the cut. From at least one sheet surface protrude numerous, parallel, and vertical ribs of max. thickness of 0.50 mm and soft edge transitions to the sheet surface. The rib thickness is between 0.20 to 0.50 mm, typically 0.35 to 0.40 mm. The rib width along the sheet length may be 8 to 30 mm, pref. 10 to 12 mm. The rib side edges may be slightly rounded towards the sheet surface, with the width of the rounded portions 3 to 15 mm, pref 5 to 6 mm.
