A tank or vessel for uniformly suspending solids in liquid solution is equipped with a heating system with controls to accurately control the temperature of the liquid contained in the vessel and has a mixing device which will accurately rotate or cause movement of the liquid to maintain particulate matter in suspension in the vessel for the co-deposition of the particulate material with the co-deposition material contained in the solution. Uniform distribution along with the deposition material upon the object being plated or coated with a deposit improves wear characteristics and/or lubricity characteristics. <IMAGE>
