<p>A safety system of roll guards (115) protecting an anesthesia machine's wheel assemblies (109) from being obstructed or snagged by objects lying upon a floor surface (111) or dangling above the floor surface (111) that are in the path of movement. Each roll guard (115) is not connected to any part of the wheel assembly (109) or anesthesia machine (17), and has a vertically upstanding cylindrical portion (137) whose bottom (121, 123) rests upon the floor surface (111). The cylindrical portion (137) surrounds and freely receives therein the wheel assembly (109), and has a top portion (139, 141) closed by a cap (143).</p> |
