To protect tank fittings (22) against external mechanical and chemical influences, a casing (25) for fittings is provided, which casing is screwed to the container frame (13, 17) and is sealed off relative to the tank shell (10) by a permanently elastic sealing compound. The casing (25) for fittings is inserted only after the tank fittings (22) have been assembled and therefore does not obstruct the installation thereof. Owing to its firm connection to the container frame (13, 17), the casing (25) for fittings has a high rigidity. <IMAGE> |
