The sample is brought into contact with a conventional gas humidity sensor from which a stationary compensated reading (aw) is taken after 30 to 60 sec. The dependence of this reading on the relative humidity (MF) of the material is stored in memory and the corresp. value of relative humidity is worked out and displayed (1).The appts. has programming and selection keys (2-4), a compensated moisture and temp. display (5) and selector (6), and linear voltage and current output terminals (10-12) for control purposes.
