A device including one or more solid-state microelectrode sensors (1) for locating electrons emitted by biological tissue (2). A series of parallel microelectrodes are arranged on both locating planes (1a and 1b) of the sensor such that series (1a) is perpendicular, or in some cases at 45 DEG , to series (1b). The biological tissue is placed on a holder (3) and a uniform magnetic field (B) may be applied thereto. The signals from the sensor(s) are delivered to a data acquisition unit (5) which processes the analogue and digital portions of the pulse picked up at each microelectrode. The data are processed by a computer (6) and stored as biological tissue spectra in various media (7, 8) such that the information may be reprocessed by means of various algorithms. |
