Transformable structure for receiving at least a portion of the body of a person, said structure being arranged in at least two configurations, a seat configuration (figure 1) and a bed configuration (figure 2) comprising a frame (1) and a body supporting part (2) made of relatively thin flexible material, for example a cloth or canvass, characterized in that the supporting part is comprised longitudinally and from one edge (2a) to the other edge (2b) of: a first portion (21) forming a flap in the seat configuration (figure 1) and a hanging flap in the bed configuration (figure 3); a second portion (22) forming a back in the seat configuration and an element of the extension plane in the bed configuration; a third part (23) forming a seat in the seat configuration and the other element of the extension plane in the bed configuration; and a fourth part (24) forming a leg rest in the seat configuration and the other hanging flap in the bed configuration.
