<p>The invention concerns a process for the removal of volatile components from a feed stream including the steps of: (a) contacting one surface of a microporous hydrophobic membrane with the feed stream; (b) contacting the other surface of the membrane with a stripper stream which contains a redox reagent with which the volatile component will react; wherein the volatile component moves from the feed stream, passes through the membrane and reacts with the redox reagent in the stripper stream.</p> |
