The body panel is designed to avoid damage due to vibration of a vehicle. The gap (8) between the flat main part and the inner rim (7) of a frame type reinforcement (6) is filled with permanently viscous material injected into it.In the case of a component with corners, viewed from overhead, the gap is filled with material between the corners.
