The lowest step of the first part (1) is inserted between the teeth, followed by a second part (2) whose lowest step is a continuation of the last step of part (1). After the end step of the second part (2) is reached, the second part (2) and the first part (1) can be inserted together to act as a fourth part (4). The sum of the lowest step of the first part (1) and the sum of the lowest step of the second part (2) together represent the next increase in steps after the highest step of the second part (2).The first and second parts may be joined via a third part which consists of a rectangular connecting piece (3). When inserted between the fist two parts it locks them together to form the fourth part (4). Other combinations can be formed. The parts can be made of plastics, wood, metal and may be partially or wholly coloured.
