High-power cleaning unit for collection and treating of grinding sludges, coolant-lubricants, and similar residues has a suction pipe (2) and suction head (2) with separator (4), distributing the sepd. liquid to tanks (7,8) and discharging solids to a drum. The separator is e.g. a centrifuge and pre-dries the solid material.
