A process and device are disclosed for printing patterns, in particular repeating patterns (register rounds) on webs (8) or sheets. The web (8) or sheets are conveyed through at least two printing stations (2a, 2b). A first printing station (2a) prints part of the pattern on the web (8) or sheet and a second printing station (2b) which, in respect of rotary position, is aligned with the first printing station (2a) and prints the remaining part of the register round on the web (8) or sheet. |
