<p>A personal cleansing product comprising: (a) from about 5 % to about 50 % by weight of one or more surfactants selected from anionic, nonionic, amphoteric, zwitterionic and cationic surfactants and mixtures thereof; (b) from about 3 % to about 40 % by weight of an insoluble nonionic oil or wax or mixture of insoluble nonionic oils or waxes; (c) from about 0.1 % to about 8 % by weight of fatty acid having a weight-average chain length of from 10 to 18 carbon atoms; (d) from about 1.5 % to about 10 % by weight of citric acid or water soluble citrate salt or mixture thereof, and (e) water. The cleansing products demonstrate excellent physical stability and viscosity characteristics across temperature in addition to good lathering, mildness, rinsibility and conditioning benefits.</p> |
