<p>Disclosed is an apparatus and method for image processing which can enhance edges in the image. The image is inputted through the lens (102) and split by beam splitter (152) and applied to CCD elements (104 and 105). An A/D converter (108) produces both a high and a low resolution image which are stored in a frame store (110). The images are subtracted in microprocessor (112) and the resulting edge enhanced image is stored in memory (114).</p> |
