PURPOSE:An ultraviolet ray irradiator by which the head portion of golf club coated with a coating is uniformly hardened. CONSTITUTION:The golf club 1 whose head portion is coated with an ultraviolet ray-curable coating is put on the rotary club receiver 2 on the club elevator 4 whose height is regulated with the regulating screw 5 according to the length of golf club and which is rotated by sprocket and chain driven by the club rotating motor 3. When rotating the golf club 1 set in an ultraviolet ray irradiating chamber so as to reciprocally rotate the head portion of the club, the whole surface of the coat on the head portion can be uniformly irradiated by the ultraviolet ray irradiator 9.
