PRODUCTION OF CERAMIC GREEN SHEET

PURPOSE:To provide a method for producing a ceramic green sheet by which the surface state of the ceramic green sheet can be made uniform while reducing the thickness and the deterioration of the characteristics of the product can be prevented. CONSTITUTION:Powdery ceramic stock is mixed with a binder soln. and the resulting ceramic slurry is formed into a sheet by means of a reverse roll coater to produce the objective ceramic green sheet. The binder soln. contains a water- soluble acrylic binder obtd. by copolymerizing a monomer having a carboxyl group in its molecule with acrylate and methacrylate monomers.
