PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition, comprising a thermoplastic resin such as a polyamide-based resin, a specific saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer and a specified salt of a fatty acid in a prescribed amount, excellent in compatibility, appearance and gas shielding properties and useful as a film, a sheet, etc. CONSTITUTION:This resin composition comprises (A) one or more thermoplastic resins selected from the group consisting of polyamide-based, polyester-based, PS-based, PVC-based, acrylic, polyvinylidene chloride-based, polyurethane-based, polyvinyl acetate-based, polyacetal-based and polycarbonate-based resins, (B) a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having 20-50mol% ethylene unit and >=96% saponification degree of the vinyl acetate unit and (C) one or more salts of metals selected from groups I, II and III of the periodic table with fatty acids in an amount of 0.00001-10 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. total amount of the components (A) and (B). Furthermore, the blending ratio of the components (A) and (B) is within the range of (70/30) to (99.7/0.3). |
