Thereby the lacking condition of the pinching force for the transmission belt 76 can be eliminated in good performance despite failure in the hydraulic circuit system incl. a pressure regulator valve 224 to regulate the tension control pressure Pbelt, for example sticking of a spool valve element 262 of the regulator valve 224, fastening of spool valve element 246 of the fifth solenoid valve (linear valve) 160, fastening of spool valve element 234 of a throttle valve opening sensing valve 220, and fastening of the spool valve element 242 of a valve pressure regulating valve 222.
