METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING CAT COIL

PURPOSE:To produce a cast coil enhanced in electric characteristics by an easy working process capable of positioning a coil conductor without requiring complicated work arranging an insulating spacer and eliminating the interfacial release between the insulating spacer and a casting resin. CONSTITUTION:A casting mold 10 for a propelling guide coil is constituted of upper and lower molds 11A, 11B. The upper mold 11A is constituted by providing a recessed part 12a on the back surface thereof and providing an injection pipe 13 and a cylindrical guide 15a on the surface side thereof and further providing a cylindrical support member 16a supported in the guide 15a so as to reciprocally slide and having a hole 19a provided to the leading end thereof to position a coil conductor 1, the piston 17a made reciprocally slidable in the support member 16a and a heater 18a for heating and curing a casting resin. The lower mold 11B is constituted in the same way as the upper mold 11A excepting for providing the injection pipe 13.
