<p>PURPOSE:To provide a packing material which is useful in packing dried food or the like, water-soluble and edible by using a film containing denatured starch. CONSTITUTION:A film is obtained by mixing starch and a compound or polymer containing hydroxyl radicals. Starch used includes non-denatured starch as well as denatured or decomposed starch which has been subjected to physical or chemical treatment. The compound or polymer containing hydroxyl radicals includes alcohol, (co)polymer of unsaturated alcohol, hydroxy denatured substance of (co)polymer, etc. A ratio (a)/(b) of used starch (a) and the compound or polymer (b) containing hydroxyl radicals is preferably 30 to 99/70 to 1wt.%. Materials which can be blended include (a), (b) components as well as water, plasticizer, colorant, preservatives, stabilizer, bulking agent, thermal plastic polymer, gelatin, casein, agar, cellulose, caprolactone, polysaccharide, etc.</p> |
