PURPOSE:To provide a method and device for obtaining a high-quality product having stable dimensions and shape by properly forming a channel steel with parallel flanges. CONSTITUTION:Universal rolling is executed with lower rolls 49, 49a whose outsides in corner parts 39, 39a are downward inclined at 2-8 deg. by 1-3 times width of flange thickness, gaps 38, 38a between the lower rolls and vertical rolls are taken as 1-6mm at the final target thickness, after rolling the channel steel with right and left vertical rolls 37, 37a whose radii are 200-800mm, edge rolling is executed with the lower rolls 49, 49a with the inclination opposite to the corner parts 39, 39a. |
