PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition having improved waterabsorptivity, dimensional accuracy, etc., while keeping excellent mechanical properties and heat-resistance of nylon 46 resin by compounding a nylon 46 resin with two specific kinds of polymers at specific ratios. CONSTITUTION:This resin composition is produced by compounding (A) a nylon 46 resin with (B) an aromatic polyamide resin at a B/(A+B) ratio of 0.05-0.7 and compounding 98-80wt.% of the obtained composition with (C) 2-20wt.% of an olefinic polymer containing carboxylic acid (derivative) in the molecular chain. The component B is preferably produced by condensing an acid component consisting of terephthalic acid and other aromatic dicarboxylic acid and/or a 4-25C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and an amine component consisting of a 4-25C aliphatic and/or alicyclic diamine and containing 30-100mol% of terephthalic acid in the acid component.
