PURPOSE: To provide a feed component for poultry for chicken production for efficiently producing chicken rich in n-3 fatty acid profitable for human bodies, and a method for producing such chicken. CONSTITUTION: Concerning the feed component for poultry for chicken production containing an n-3 fatty acid supply source such as flax seeds, perilla or fish powder in 40 to 60 wt.% and carbonate supply source such as wheat or barley in 25 to 50 wt.%, this feed component is applied to poultry before the scheduled slaughter date of poultry for one to two weeks so that chicken rich in n-3 fatty acid can be produced. |
