PURPOSE:To provide a synthetic resin pipe of a metal/resin compound with outstanding pressure resistance strength and durability. CONSTITUTION:A metal sheet reinforcing member 3 which is bent in a shape running along the inner surface of a reinforcing ridge 2 is introduced into the reinforcing ridge 2 substantially in a non-integrated manner, in the reinforcing ridge 2 of a resin pipe 1 with a hollow spiral reinforcing ridge 2 on the outer periphery. Further, both resin pipe 1 and metal reinforcing member 3 are formed so that they do not influence the other due to their thermal expansion effects.
