PURPOSE:To provide a color printer and a color reproducing method which can reproduce colorful colors in a color-piled up part. CONSTITUTION:A printing data sent from a host system is temporarily held (S 211), which is converted to YMCK to be drawn from RGB (S 212), and developed in a YMCK memory (S 213). Then, a drawing point pixel is checked (S 214). In a case of 'on', reverse color conversion wherein the RGB is obtained from the YMCK is carried out (S 215). An additive color mixture is operated by means of a given operation expression (S 216). When the drawing is ended, printing is performed on paper by outputting (S 217-S 220). |
