<p>Synthetic rubber adhesive compositions comprise (a) butadiene-acrylonitrile synthetic rubber, zinc oxide, sulphur, coumarone-indene resin, channel black, paraffin wax, stearic acid, accelerator, antioxidant, propylene dichloride, and, if desired, an ethyl alcohol solution of phenol-formaldehyde resin; (b) butadieneacrylonitrile latex, phenol-formaldehyde resin, hexamethylene tetramine, and water; (c) neoprene latex, wetting agent, sodium silicate, methyl cellulose, antifoam agent, zinc oxide, antioxidant, retarder, calcium carbonate, iron oxide pigment, dispersing agent, bentonite, and water; (d) neoprene rubber, clay, dibutyl sebacate, zinc oxide, magnesium oxide, sodium acetate, toluene, and naphtha, to which may be added an iron catalyst in heavy oil, and methylene bis (paraphenylene isocyanate) in orthodichlorobenzene.
