PURPOSE: To present a ball earring and a method and device to manufacture an ornament of precious metal equipped with a ball earring pin including a wire filled up with solder of specific length serving as both an earring wire post and a dome cup to seat the ball of a ball earring as an ornament. CONSTITUTION: In this method, an end of a wire easing 50 is spread rearward, then separated from a solder core 40, which would expose the top 30 of the solder. The wire easing 50 separated from the solder core 40 is formed out to a dome cup 20 to compensate the curvature of the ball 90. The top 30 of the solder extending into the ball 90 is heated up afterward, which would melt the solder, therefore fix the ball 90 in the cup 20 after the solder is cooled down. |
