PURPOSE:To enhance maintenability within a bottom cowl while sealing performance around an insertion hole for operating cables and the like within the bottom cowl is being enhanced. CONSTITUTION:Remote control cables and the like 15, 16, 19, 20 and 22 are extended to an engine from the hull in which an outboard motor 1 is mounted, which is equipped with an engine covered by a bottom cowl 8 and an upper cowl 9. In an installtion structure for the remote control cables and the like of an outboard motor where the aforesaid operating cables and the like are inserted to a grommet 31 set in the bottom cowl in a water tight condition so as to be supported, the grommet is supported by the bottom cowl via a plate fitting 32, and the plate fitting is formed with a projected section 35 projected in the direction to the grommet. |
