<p>PURPOSE:To restrain dusts having low melting point in an exhaust gas from attaching to the inner surface of a duct at high temperature by providing a jacket for passage of cooling fluid outside a gas duct and interposing insulating material between the jacket and gas duct. CONSTITUTION:A cooling jacket 2 of plain steel comprising a cooling jacket inner part 3 and a cooling jacket outer part 4 is disposed outside a gas duct 1 of heat resistant steel concentrically, spaced apart from each other. The interior of the gas duct 1 is a fluid passage 60 for high temperature exhaust gas and a passage 61 for cooling fluid (water) is formed between the outer part 3 and the inner part 4 of the cooling jacket. Insulating material is interposed between the duct 1 and the jacket 2, and as insulating material 5, ceramic fiber sheet, metallic fibers formed into non-woven fabric etc., can be used. And the cooling jacket is divided, as required, in circumferential direction into a plurality of divided bodies, whereby the gas duct 1 can be extended or contracted.</p> |
