PURPOSE:To enable the passing of an ultra-high silicon steel sheet through a huge line in accordance with a series of producing process through an ultra- high silicon steel sheet is too brittle to pass the conventional huge continuous line having many bent parts used for producing an electrical sheet. CONSTITUTION:A hot rolled sheet or thin cast material constituted of, by weight, <= 0.006% C, 4.5 to 7.1% Si, 0.07 to 0.30% Mn, <= 0.007% S and <=0.003% N, and the balance Fe is subjected to cold rolling at 150 to 470 deg.C in a state in which scales adhere to the surface, and after that, annealing is executed. By executing the cold rolling in the same temp. range, cold rolling cracks are eliminated and the crushing and peeling of surface scales are also eliminated, so that stable rolling can be executed. Since there occurs not bending rpture in the steel sheet thinned like this, the subsequent passing through a huge line having many bent parts is made possible. In this way ultra-high silicon electrical sheet can be mass-produced by using the conventional general electrical sheet. |
